A DOOR PRIZE.

Sorry To be running behind! I have just realised that I did not post April's addition to the Sasha wardrobe!
So I will sort that out later today! But first....

A few month's back I was buying a beautiful dress from the very talented Kath Barnet and explained that it was for the raffle of the Sasha doll at the Chat n Snap.
Kath asked what that was, so after a few emails and a referral to this blog, Kath asked me if I had a door prize?
Having no idea what this was, she explained that it was prize that was won by by someone who was attending the event and that if I did not have such a prize she'd like to donate one.

Agreeing it was a wonderful idea and thanking her for her generosity, I waited to see what would arrive.

So with many many thanks to Kath for her gift, here being modelled by new girl Mabel Lucie ,is the prize for one of those who actually attends the Chat n Snap.

Please note the shoes and socks are NOT part of the prize.

It is this gorgeous smocked dress set.

Lovely fabric

A sweet sun hat to shelter from the sun.

A closer view of the smocking.

The three piece's.

So it will work like this, if you have paid for a ticket and you actually turn up, your name will be on a slip of paper at the door, please put this into the box provided to ensure you go into the raffle. Please do not add anyone else's name slip, it's their responsibility to do so.

Many thanks to Kath for this idea and this most generous of gifts.

I for one am hoping it's my name drawn on the day!! But whoever win's it will be one happy bunny!!

  1. What a lovely idea for a beautiful gift.
I suggested a similar idea which was used at the 2012 UK Sasha Festival but instead of a raffle we used the no 30 (being the 30th festival) and a prize was given for the thirtieth entrance ticked sold and on several 30th occasions during the event.

    1. It was and most appreciated.
I think I benefited from one of those 30th prizes, as I had a Sasha symbol on the bottom of my good box on my table and was given a Queen Elizabeth commemorative coin, which I still have.
